Fan Reviews of Castle Homes’ Parade House
Livability, craftsmanship and attention-to-detail are just some of the great comments from visitors touring Castle Homes at the Parade of Homes. The Contemporary English Country style home has almost 7,800 square feet of living space, three-levels and includes numerous outdoor living areas.
Located in the beautiful Witherspoon neighborhood of Brentwood, here’s what a few fans of the home had to say:
Architectural Integrity – Contemporary English Country Exterior
“This home feels well-made,” said one visitor this week. “You can see behind the walls with that clever building room. It was so interesting.”
The exterior of the home has many traditional elements of an early 1900s English Country home including the bank of windows and roofline. Inspired by British architect Sir Edwin Lutyens, the house has many custom touches from the dormers and front door produced in collaboration with Vintage Millworks to the custom Indiana limestone wrapping the covered entry.
Architectural integrity is important to Castle Homes but when you enter, the contemporary, fresh interior is important for modern day living.
“Timeless sophistication was our priority with the interiors,” said Alan Looney, Castle Homes president. “It is our goal to contribute to the architectural landscape of Nashville and this home will definitely stand the test of time.
Unique Custom Lighting
“No cookie cutter lighting,” pointed out a tour visitor.
Castle Homes in-house design team worked very hard with Rozanne Jackson Interiors to find the perfect lighting choice in each room of the home from the white oak chandelier in the living room to the leather chandelier in the dining room. One of the don’t miss light fixtures is in the study juxtaposed against the tracery ceiling for an artful choice!
The Nashville Parade of Homes is open daily through October 22 in the Witherspoon neighborhood of Brentwood. Click here for directions and tickets information.
