Nashville, Tenn. (March 18, 2015)—The elegance and charm of a Southern Contemporary Folk style home with the latest interior design and building ideas will be showcased in a new signature event, the Nashville Symphony Show House, open for tour June 12-28 in the beautiful Forest Hills area south of downtown Nashville.
Being built by Castle Homes in partnership with noted architecture firm, Wade Weissmann Architecture, Inc., the event is slated to be Nashville’s top home tour of the year drawing visitors from across the Southeast while helping support the Nashville Symphony says Castle Homes President Alan Looney, builder of the national 2013 Southern Living Idea House.
“This premier home tour will be packed with fresh building and architectural inspiration with decorating ideas from some of the area’s top designers while helping support one of our city’s greatest treasures, the Nashville Symphony,” Looney said.
Nashville Symphony President and CEO Alan D. Valentine said his organization is honored by the partnership.
“We are both extremely thrilled and grateful to be a part of this unique initiative, which will provide valuable support for the Nashville Symphony’s ongoing work throughout Middle Tennessee,” said Valentine. “Partnerships such as these are a perfect example of the outstanding community spirit that makes Nashville so special, and I am looking forward to an exciting series of events this June at the Castle Homes’ show house benefiting the Nashville Symphony.”
A custom build, the home is located in the bucolic Hillsboro Road area of southern Davidson County on two acres in the Hunterdon neighborhood. The home is over 5,000 square feet with multiple porches showcasing fine southern living. The home will be open for tour daily June 12-28 with a variety of tour events including a patron’s party and a garden party for regional home lifestyle industry bloggers. Follow the build via Castle Homes website and Facebook. Tickets will be available in May.
