Best Ever Southern Living Idea House Built By Castle Homes
The best idea house ever is what Southern Living magazine is calling this year’s home at beautiful Fontanel in Nashville built by Castle Homes and featured on the August cover of the magazine.
With an incredible overview of the exciting building and inspiring design ideas of the farmhouse style home, the two-story living room is featured on the cover and it has been an exciting project for Castle Homes says Founder/President Alan Looney whose team completed the project on an expedited build schedule.
“The Fontanel developers, Marc Oswald and Dale Morris, have been a great team to partner with on this exciting national project. To gain the recognition for the build by Southern Living’s Editor Lindsay Bierman, an architect himself, means a great deal to our entire team,” Looney said. “The home will be open through December 29 so visitors can see for themselves the incredible attention-to-detail and building and design ideas that will inspire their own home projects.”
Bierman said, in an interview with One One 7 host Jennifer Vickery, one of the reasons Castle Homes was chosen was their ability to produce under a tight deadline and their award-winning history.
“The choice of Castle Homes, who built this house in record time and was a Southern Living Custom Builder of the Year (2012)…drove our choice of them to build this house,” Bierman said. “This is a hand picked team and it’s really important to us that we got the quality right. The deadline was tight and we needed an accomplished builder, designer and great landscape designer who could collaborate seamlessly.”
Bierman said the home defines a new Southern style and is incredibly solid from every door to every wall.
